Now let’s get it out there. After nearly two years of fighting we are still no better off. All thanks to Roofcare…. Which should be called cowboy roofers. Do not use this company. This company that come to fix my porch roof to which they used a blow torch within minutes caught fire to my cladding which had some sort of paper under the cladding which went up in flames withing minutes. Took the cowboys 3 minutes to notify us the house was on fire to which a smoke alarm alerted. Myself, my husband and 3 children one of which was upstairs at the time why the baby slept on the couch. The reason for knocking and telling us was because he needed water to help put the fire out… no fire extinguisher, no heat proof gloves why using a blow torch, no heat pad up on the house/cladding to stop this from happening. 2 years in October they made us homeless for 7 weeks and to this day won’t take liability to which we have all on CCTV. Solicitors was costing us to much. These cowboys have got away with this…. If you google on the fire department for skelmersdale in October it will show we had 3 fire engines and a little review of how the fire was started etc. avoid or use at your own risk…

The job itself went alright, but a few days after they left , I noticed the gutters weren't installed back correctly, and rain water is pouring all over the veranda now. I called Adam to ask when the team can come back to sort it, and ever since I'm always being put off, was told on several different occasions that the guys are coming the next day, I organised my day to be home for them, and nobody showed up. That was more than a month ago now. I'm tired of calling and texting already, might as well look for someone else....

We recently had our roof and chimney repaired by Roofcare Cheshire, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service.
Ernest and his team were professional from start to finish. They turned up on time, explained clearly what work needed doing, and kept everything tidy throughout the job. It’s not always easy to find reliable tradespeople, but Ernest was straightforward, honest, and very knowledgeable.
The quality of the workmanship is excellent. The roof repair has been completed to a very high standard, and the chimney work looks solid and well-finished. You can tell they take pride in what they do.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Roofcare Cheshire to anyone looking for reliable, professional roofing work. Great team, great attitude, and top-quality results.

One star does not justify how poor this company is, they were contracted in by sanctuary for a housing disrepair claim.
Back in 2024, the staffs attitude was absolutely disgraceful to match the quality of the work, I lived room to room whilst they left my house in worse condition than when they started, lied about the work that was done, cut corners for deadlines and spoke to the occupants of the home like dirt.
The boss of this company put way too much stress and ridiculous deadlines on the staff and I presume that’s what led to a disastrous job from start to finish, I’d never slate hard working men but my experience with this company was genuinely the worst experience I’ve had with any company in my life, the only decent work done was the plastering sorry lads but very poor

Well I think you need to learn your staff how to drive, cut up twice by some impatient man at 6am in the morning. Vile, angry, and intimidating individual. It's a good job men like him don't scare me!!
Learn your staff to have good road sense, or just don't employ entitled men that think they own the road in a company van. 2 near misses at no fault of my own.
