Now let’s get it out there. After nearly two years of fighting we are still no better off. All thanks to Roofcare…. Which should be called cowboy roofers. Do not use this company. This company that come to fix my porch roof to which they used a blow torch within minutes caught fire to my cladding which had some sort of paper under the cladding which went up in flames withing minutes. Took the cowboys 3 minutes to notify us the house was on fire to which a smoke alarm alerted. Myself, my husband and 3 children one of which was upstairs at the time why the baby slept on the couch. The reason for knocking and telling us was because he needed water to help put the fire out… no fire extinguisher, no heat proof gloves why using a blow torch, no heat pad up on the house/cladding to stop this from happening. 2 years in October they made us homeless for 7 weeks and to this day won’t take liability to which we have all on CCTV. Solicitors was costing us to much. These cowboys have got away with this…. If you google on the fire department for skelmersdale in October it will show we had 3 fire engines and a little review of how the fire was started etc. avoid or use at your own risk…

Currently trying to work through them putting up scaffolding on a home near me with hardcore dance music blasting out their van. Asked them to turn it down but of course been ignored. You'd be screwed if you were a night worker and they were working near you.

Roof and care in the same sentence as this company, is an insult to the word care.
Magenta Living tasked these with cleaning a side of a roof and replacing 4 tiles.
They erected scaffolding and a week later came to remove it thinking job was done!
Next day, 2 fellas turned out, scraped some moss in a bucket off the wrong side, replaced the 4 tiles in 1.5 hours.
Then scaffolding removed.
I then got a bill for 1800!
I lived opposite the flat being done, so witnessed them through my bedroom window smoking on roof, chatting and the work took literally 30 minutes.
After many calls and emails with Magenta Living, a drone was sent up to examine the work.
Turns out they lied about work done, saying they had done 30 tiles.
Bill reduced to £780, which considering they only did 4 tiles and scraped wrong roof is diabolical.
Avoid this company at all costs.

We recently had our roof and chimney repaired by Roofcare Cheshire, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service.
Ernest and his team were professional from start to finish. They turned up on time, explained clearly what work needed doing, and kept everything tidy throughout the job. It’s not always easy to find reliable tradespeople, but Ernest was straightforward, honest, and very knowledgeable.
The quality of the workmanship is excellent. The roof repair has been completed to a very high standard, and the chimney work looks solid and well-finished. You can tell they take pride in what they do.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Roofcare Cheshire to anyone looking for reliable, professional roofing work. Great team, great attitude, and top-quality results.

Very poor experience.
An appointment was scheduled for 20 March via my housing association as I've no hot water since 14th of Jan 2026. I remained at home all day, however no one attended.
I was then informed the appointment had been rescheduled to 24 March without any prior notice, which is not acceptable.
This relates to an essential 'urgent' repair, and the lack of communication and reliability has been extremely disappointing.
Greater accountability, people skills and communication are clearly needed. How this company is still in business with the awful service is beyond me
