After going around the local market gardens, I found McGreal's Garden Supplies to have the most comprehensive range of plants, sheds and garden ornaments that I wanted for my garden renovation. Very competitively priced, too.
Located on Leasowe Road, it was well signed, as slightly tucked away off the dual carriageway.
Once on site, it was an oasis of so many areas of various garden items. I'm not one for shopping, but genuinely enjoyed walking around McGreals.
I even found that McGreals sold compost, gravel and even water features that enabled me to buy everything that I wanted for my garden that I have had designed. They even supply Calor Gas, ready for my summer bbq's!
The service was excellent, with simple explanations of every plant I asked about with regards to the time of year for planting and maintenance.
I can't recommend McGreals Garden Supplies highly enough.

Very helpful staff. We bought a HUGE terracotta pot, 2 bags of cobbles, 2 bags of pebbles, 2 x compost for the small price of approx £70. Great value for money. Will be back soon.

Great garden centre and amazing staff. Other half broke down, had to pull in at the garden centre. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Had a look around as well and will definitely be going back soon for a proper look around

I hadn't been here before and am sorry I hadn't been there. It is a treasure trove of items, hundreds of plants of all types. The staff are helpful but not pushy.
I think we as a community should support this fabulous garden centre. Go and have a browse, there's such a lot to see there. I am definitely going again to browse through the myriad of goodies and plants.
Why not pop your bum in and see for yourself!

A great garden centre with a huge range of plants. It's bigger than it looks from the road. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and never to busy to help, unlike some places. Plenty of parking spaces and overall very good for wheelchairs and prams.
