We recently had Ollie and the team at CNR Construction complete some building work for us and we couldn't be happier with the results.
Ollie and his team took out an internal wall and installed x2 RSJs to open up a kitchen/dining space for us + added roof windows into our existing pitched roof, plumbing and coordinated all the work throughout.
From the initial consultation, the whole process was very smooth and efficient. Ollie’s team are all extremely polite, courteous and keep everything tidy. They would leave everything very tidy, every day while working and after finishing work.
Finding reliable builders who communicate clearly can be very difficult, but Ollie and his team completely exceeded our expectations.
They were always punctual, kept the site clean and tidy, and were transparent and highly professional throughout. Their attention to detail gave us absolute peace of mind, also helping us to liaise with building control.
I’d like to add that Ollie also fitted us in last minute to ensure works were complete before the arrival of our next baby (due in August) and we really appreciated how he made time for us and got us in so quickly.
We are so pleased with the outcome and wouldn't hesitate to recommend CNR Construction to anyone looking for trustworthy, skilled professionals. We will definitely be using them for any future works.

Olly done a downstairs shower room and walk-in wardrobe for me. Nothing too much for him and his lads. Anything we asked for it was never a problem.
Job absolutely spot on.
We are planning an upstairs one bedroom extension which has just been granted by planning permission, we will be using Olly again for this. $$$$$$$ permitting.

We have had the back two rooms knocked through. Ollie and the team have done a fantastic job. Everything was tracked From initial sign off to completion of the works. The communication was excellent throughout too, everything was handled impeccably. They left the place spotless every day which is a big help. Would definitely recommend and hopefully going to use them again for our garden alterations next year.

Ollie and team at CNR did a great job repairing a failed lintel and associated brickwork on my outhouse in New Brighton. Responded quickly, acted professionally and were very pleasant. I wasn’t sure anyone would take on such a small project, but they fitted it in the same week no trouble! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We recently used CNR Construction for a small job — just pointing a few walls — but from start to finish they treated it like a major project. The team was polite, friendly, and very professional, taking time to listen to what we wanted and making sure everything was done just right.
Even though the scope was small, the quality was outstanding. The pointing is neat and consistent, with smooth joints and clean edges. No sloppy mortar, nothing rushed. They clearly take pride in craftsmanship, no matter how small the job.
They also kept the site tidy, cleaning up after themselves every day. Dust and waste were removed; tools were stored away properly. It never felt like we were living on a building site.
What impressed us the most: they acted like no job is too small. Every detail mattered. Communication was excellent — they arrived when promised, explained what they’d do, and finished within the expected timeframe.
In short: if you want a team who delivers excellent workmanship, treats your home with respect, and doesn’t cut corners because it’s only a small job, Ollie is your man- one you can trust. Highly recommend.
