Gary is a fantastic trades person; knowledgable, reliable and has great attention to detail. Couldn’t be happier with the kitchen he has recently fitted for us.
He has also previously fitted our staircase handrails, spindles, baserails and newel caps that can be seen in the photos also. The price is always competitive and work is completed on time. We would definitely recommend.

Gary and his team have just completed the second large job on our property (they completed a garage conversion about three years ago) and, honestly, I wouldn't trust anyone else working on our property.
When we commenced work, we discussed the work with Gary and obtained a quote which came in slightly over our initial budget and Gary took the time to sit with us and work out how we could complete the works to our strict budget making tweaks here and there.
The work started and it was first class from start to finish. They arrived when they said they would, always keeping us in the loop in relation to days where they didn't need to be on site (concrete drying etc), so our expectations were managed throughout.
Gary goes above and beyond in things like liaising with the local authority Building Control on our behalf.
The main thing for us is his professionalism in him and his team including the work outsourced to plasterers, brick layers, electricians and plumbers. With two young kids of two and five, you don't really just want anyone in your house but his team of Josh, Rob and Mick were great and always took the time to chat to our kids when they asked them absolutely endless questions.
We had a major mishap with our kitchen due to Howdens mismeasuring and Gary completely took the stress out of that situation and resolved the issue quickly.
Any extras that we needed to account for such as sockets etc were discussed prior to work being carried out so we didn't have any unexpected surprises and the site was left clean and tidy every day.
I've noticed that there's a recent review which was 1 star and questioned the professionalism of GD Joinery. Whilst I can't comment on other reviews, our experience of GD Joinery across two major jobs have been absolutely top class and we'd be more than happy to act as a reference for any prospective customers for Gary and his team and we really wouldn't use anyone else.

-1/10 when are you coming to fix our kitchen? Dishwasher has been left hanging off, freezer door broke in a week, one cupboard door doesn’t close, one electric socket not replaced, extractor fan never fully fitted and rubbish left under the units where you can see through the vent!! Shocking especially considering you have been contacted many times “too ill” to come over but you seem well on your facebook page! Unless they come out to fix with a sorry i would not recommend this company to anyone!!!! Convinced they’ve blocked my number aswell! Shoddy workmanship payed all this money and now i’m going to have to employ someone else to fix your mess, i will be posting pictures to everywhere as i said i will put your awful company on blast. Delete this all you like as you only have 5* reviews which is impressive for a cowboy. Heard your mrs writes them for you.

Gary fitted a complex wall unit which he constructed. The end result was immaculate in every way.He also finished off some final touches to our new kitchen diner. Everything he did was finished to an outstanding level.Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot praise him highly enough and will definitely use him again.
