This is a very unusual pub in that it originally used to be for many years a hardware and DIY supply's store. Now it's a microbrewery and real ale pub. They have gutted the inside and put a new roof with skylights in it making it light and airy. Then they've built the new bar with the brewery tanks built on top of the bar. It's all been done very well and very distinct and different from any other pub in the area. Staff were very helpful when selecting a pint as they had a few we'd not tried out before. They have an excellent range of real ales and ciders and it's well worth a visit.

Momma els kitchen we recently down a beautiful buffet for a wonderful family in this venue for a christening ❤️ the venue itself is basic looking yet has a lovely feel about the place, it’s just so ! The staff were extremely friendly professional and accommodated all our requests without hesitation. Genuine lovely owners who do a lot with the community an amazing place for a venue for any occasion we give it a five star review for a party venue ❤️🧑🏻🍳😘

Solid crisp choice. Incredible beer selection. Amazing staff. Plus the massive screen and dj sets bring good vibes.

The Handyman feels like a place I should love. Brew their own ales, have a great selection of guest ales both on tap and bottles but there's something not quite right.
It doesn't have any kind of atmosphere. The front bar has a few long tables and chairs but there's nothing comfortable about the place. The front windows open in summer which probably would make it more pleasant. The back room is completely soulless, school cafeteria vibes. It's also pretty dingy.
Not sure if it's because of the brewing but it's also got a unpleasant aroma most of the time. Great beer but not surroundings I enjoy.

Popped in all the way from London and liked the beer. It is a brewery and shows live football on very large screen.
