5/5 — Dangerous place if you enjoy having money.
Went into the Port Sunlight Garden Centre intending to “just have a quick look” and somehow emerged 90 minutes later emotionally attached to a £40 plant I absolutely do not have room for. Classic rookie mistake.
The place is genuinely brilliant though. Massive selection of plants, loads of garden bits, and somehow they’ve mastered the art of making you think you could completely redesign your garden despite previously struggling to keep a cactus alive. Every corner makes you suddenly believe you’re one lavender pot away from becoming a countryside lifestyle influencer.
I miss the cafe! You used to go in for compost and leave full of cake, carrying three hanging baskets and questioning whether you need a water feature. Alas, no longer!
Staff were lovely, everything was well looked after, and the whole place just has a really nice atmosphere. Even if you know absolutely nothing about gardening, you’ll still leave convinced you should “do more with the outdoor space.”
Fantastic garden centre. Financially irresponsible experience. Would absolutely go again.

Met new recruit CAROL for the first time. Great ambassador for the centre…..the most polite, enthusiastic character (with humour too), that we have had the pleasure of encountering there. Hope her spirit is infectious. Thank you Carol.

It stocks a wide range of good quality products at reasonable prices, many varieties of classic potted plants and some exotic ones, such as lithops. It give this garden centre only 3 stars because cash is not accepted here. I wanted to purchase something, I had money, cash, but I was unable to buy because I didn't have the card on me. This was my first visit and I wasn't aware of the politics of this shop.

Good selection of everything you need for garden from furniture to plants. Sale on right now so prices are really good. Staff are lovely
