We honestly couldn’t recommend Jamie highly enough.
Jamie completed a full upstairs renovation of our 4-bedroom house, and from start to finish he was second-to-none in terms of communication, skill, efficiency and overall professionalism.
Throughout what was a significant project, Jamie was clear, organised and proactive - keeping us updated at every stage and always explaining things properly so we felt informed and confident in the process.
The quality of workmanship has been excellent, with real care and attention to detail throughout. Dan, who carried out a large proportion of the work, was fantastic - highly skilled, extremely reliable, and a real credit to Jamie’s team. All of the tradespeople involved were a pleasure to have around the house - respectful, tidy, and genuinely nice people. I regularly would return to the property to touch base with Jamie and his team and they were always working exceptionally hard.
What really stood out was Jamie’s kindness and integrity. He’s approachable, fair, and clearly takes pride not just in the work itself, but in how the whole experience feels for the client. We always felt listened to and supported, which makes a huge difference during a significant renovation.
We’re absolutely chuffed with the end result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jamie to anyone looking for a builder they can genuinely trust.

James, Dan and the team were a pleasure to work with and standard of our finished kitchen is exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble and our options were clearly communicated to us, with any changes or issues handled smoothly as the project progressed.
James returned promptly and as promised, to finish small details of the job after the kitchen fitting and decorating was completed. Throughout the project the team kept the work area and house clean and tidy, allowing us to continue living in the house, as easily as is possible when you have no kitchen.
I have already recommended the company to a friend and would happily do so again. Thank you James, Dan, Louie and everyone else who was engaged in the job start to finish.

Highly recommend Jamie from Wirral Joinery & Construction. Excellent workmanship, reliable, professional, and always delivers a high standard of work. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and the finished result is always spot on. I wouldn’t use anyone else and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a quality joiner.

When you know you need a builder but are terrified by all the horror stories about terrible ones……get in touch with these chaps!
James and his gang are soooo brilliant I promise you will not be disappointed, but highly delighted!
I really cannot rate them highly enough. So reassuring, professional and really lovely chaps, Dan, Louie and Morgan were a pleasure to have in the house and James of course!
I will use them again without hesitation and would recommend them to anyone.

EXCEPTIONAL. Took a total punt on Wirral Joinery & Construction based only on Google reviews and a few FB reviews. Best decision we could have made. The team at WJC (James, Dan & Sam) were absolutely wonderful. Rocked up on time, were extremely hard working (worked a full day 0800-1700 hrs (or later when necessary), polite, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, communicative and extremely TIDY. They only downed tools to eat at lunchtime and had their brews on the go! Our basic knock thru of a wall and movement of kitchen (pipework and electrics) to our then back room and installation of a new window, door and french doors, was a small job for them, but to us it was a huge! We needn't have been apprehensive, everything ran like clockwork, with minimum disruption and finished well ahead of schedule! James also project managed our little build, so we were able to take advantage of his other trade contacts, namely, Mount Electrics and Wirral Gas and the superior plasterer, 'Chris The Plasterer'. All three companies had the same professionalism as James and his team, working hard and making sure the job got done as quickly and efficiently as possible. We cannot recommend Wirral Joinery and Construction enough. Not often that we can confidently recommend trades, but we picked a good 'un with this crew. Thanks so much to you all! You are AMAZING! You are all welcome for a brew anytime!
